Exchange rate calculator
This application is a simple calculator that does the exchange rate calculations for inserted values immediately instead of using ordinary calculators.
The results are calculated according to the following formula:
Local currency LC = [(Visited country’s currency “Vcc” amount) * USD exchange rate for the Local currency “LC”)] / (USD exchange rate for the Vcc)
USD = (Visited country currency “Vcc” amount) / (USD exchange rate for the Vcc)
E.g.
If your local currency is Swedish krona and its exchange rate vs. USD is 1$ = 9.1 Krona.
And then you visited a foreign country e.g. Lebanon and the exchange rate for Lebanese lira vs. USD is 1$=1500 Liras.
Now you have visited a shop and found a product with 125,000 Liras and you want to know its correspondence in Local currency (LC), which in this example is Swedish krona, and you also want to know its correspondence in USDs then the following steps should be followed:
1. Input the exchange rate of the locale currency field “USD vs. Local” which is in this example it is 9.1
2. Input the exchange rate of the Visited country currency field “USD vs. foreign” which is in this example 1500.
These values will remain in the application as long the application is working in the foreground or background, however if the application was terminated due to manual termination or device reboot then these values should be re-entered.
3. Now you should input the price of the product in foreign currency in the Foreign currency field “FC” then click the “Go” button to get the result of corresponding currencies Local currency “Krona in this example” and in USDs.
4. It should be as follows:
LBP =125
Krona =0.75
USD = 0.83
